Course contents :  A particular focus will be attributed to the study of horizontal and vertical integration.
In the framework of this course, belgian and foreign sectorial studies related to crop and animal produces will be presented and discussed.
Course objective :  To analyse agro-industrial production, processing and marketing chains by considering the basic principles of industrial organization in order to understand the competitive dynamic and the performance of the principal chains-products.
After completing the course the student is expected to
Analyse agro-industrial channels
Track down the actors of a channels, their organization and the balance of power
Understand the competitive dynamic among actors
Measure performances of a product-channels
