This course directs the attention to the variations that exist between animals of the same breed. A method is proposed of comparing each animal individual with the true type for its breed. Usual identification methods of horses and cattle are described.To apply the theoretical concepts acquired

Assessment :
The students need to know to estimate the age of horses and cattle, to complete the identification of a horse using official standards, and to locate eventual morphological defects on an animal.
A test will be organized during the practicals and will be take into account for 1/4 of the final note
