| Course objective : | Reminder of the principles of research in social sciences, analysis of social policies and the future of the social State in Belgium |

| Prerequisites : | Good knowledge of the sociological literature |

| Workshops : | 15 hours |

| Organization : | At first based on ex¿cathedra lectures, the course then turns to a progressive participation of the students |

| Written notes : | Particular link with another course of the programme: with the courses of methodology represented in the program
The readings are adapted to the annual research subject (social policies), documents will be supplied to the students as one goes along
