Course contents :  During the first year of the masters degree, all students will go on a placement worth 12 credits in a workplace where they can acquire and try out human resources management skills / expertise in the domain of work science.
The seminar aims to support students in their search for a placement and in their experience during the placement. Finally, the seminar helps students to structure their placement report.
Course objective :  The seminar has two objectives. On the one hand, it offers ways to understand the placement from a methodological point of view. On the other hand, it offers students a longitudinal follow-up of their fieldwork.
Organization :  How the seminars are organised
The seminars will be organised according to the themes dealt with, in the form of seminars based on contents or discussion sessions.

1 Introductory session
3 October from 15.00-17.00

2 Social sciences methodology
10 October from 15.00-17.00

3 Follow-up of placement places and help looking for a placement, presentation of the plan before signature of the agreement (students must have chosen the place for their placement by 15 November)
24 October from 15.00-17.00

4 Analysis
The requirements of the placement report (formal requirements, assessment criteria)
13 February from 13.00 - 15.00

5 Follow-up of the placement report
(PS: the placement report must be handed in by 15 May)
13 March from 11.00 -13.00

6 Presentation of the placements by the M2
8 May from 13.00 -17.00
Written notes :  The regulations for the placement as well as a list of bibliographical references will be distributed during the sessions.
Assessment :  (1st and 2nd session)
Students must provide a personal 5-page summary by 15 May, based on the literature concerning the methodology used. In case of a fail, the deadline for the second session is 15 August.
