Duration :  15h Th, 15h Pr
Credits/ECTS :
Master in Education Sciences, specialized approach, 2nd yearPremier quadrimestre3
Holder(s) :  Jacqueline Beckers
Language :  Langue française
Course contents :  On the basis of a group of readings, students will design training activities and supervise groups that perform them, activities related to the contents of texts they are assigned to teach.

More precisely, the contents that will be included are divided according to three themes:
- To develop socio-professional identity representations for future teachers, and to foster their further development.
- To develop the professional abilities of future teachers in terms of the complementarity of theory and practice.
- To initiate the construction of a positive professional identity for future teachers.
Course objective :  - Mastery of course material in analytic and synthetic terms
- Facilitate the appropriation of this material by others (didactic transposition similar to that which trainers must make use of): verification of understanding on the part of student trainers of fundamental concepts in texts, establishment of helpful connections with prior experience and local contexts, reflection on one's role as a professional relative to the theme expounded in the text.
- Consideration of methodologies that make it possible to make use of this material in actual situations on the ground.
Prerequisites :  P157 - Methodology for initial training of teachers (partim 1)
Workshops :  Practical work is intended to assist in the elaboration and implementation, in collaboration with student trainers, of training activities related to course themes.
Organization :  The course will take the form of seminars each lasting three hours.
The practical part is related to preparation and supervision of activities.
Written notes :  Course notes consist of a file of readings drawn from recent research, and texts about legalities related to course themes.
Assessment :  Evaluation will be based on the student's comprehension of the readings, and as regards the theme for which the student is responsible, on preparation and supervision of learning activities performed. An oral examination will be offered to those who fall behind.
