Course contents :  There are two parts :


1) Calculus : real and hyperreal numerical lines; continuity, derivability, differentiation, primitivation and integration for functions of one real variable (with a non-standard approach).


2) Linear algebra : algebra for vectors and matrices ; linear systems ; characteristic values and vectors ; diagonalisation ; quadratic forms (without and with constraints) ; markov's chains ; generalized inverse.
Course objective :  To learn to be rigorous, to use mathematics in management, to solve concrete problems, to introduce to mathematical models.
Prerequisites :  Principles of mathematical reasonings ; elementary algebra, ; basic trigonometry and geometry ; theory of real numbers.
Workshops :  Exercises in several groups.
Organization :  Semester 1 : calculus.

Semester 2 : linear algebra.

Assessment :  The final examination includes 3 equal parts :

a) exercises and problems about mathematical analysis (written exam in january and june for the first session, in august/september for the second session);
b) exercises and problems about linear algebra (written exam in june for the first session, in august/september for the second session);

c) theory .
