| Course contents : | The course will be an introduction to English linguistics. It will be based on a discussion of the following book: Douglas Biber, Susan Conrad and Geoffrey Leech, Student Grammar of Spoken and Written English, Longman, 2002. |

| Course objective : | Acquire basic notions in English linguistics; revise the grammatical and lexical specificities of the language. |

| Prerequisites : | Very good knowledge of English; Langue anglaise I. |

| Workshops : | Some sessions will be devoted to specific exercises. |
