| Course contents : | The origins of the great contemporary problems: nationalities and alliances in Europe, imperialism and expansion abroad.
ULg is a French-speaking University situated in a French-speaking area. The courses will, of course, be delivered in French, as well as the text-books, written and oral examinations, papers and reports. Foreign students are expected to master the language first. |

| Course objective : | Balance of power, geopolitics and geostrategy, importance of national, political and economical factors in international relations. |
