Course contents :  General presentation of the archaeological research in Syria. Investigation on the results of the present excavations.
Course objective :  Introduction to the Syrian archaelogy in the frame of the archaeology of the Near East.
Prerequisites :  To have attended the general lecture during the 1st year of study entitled "History of art and archaeology : ancient Near East".
Workshops :  None.
Organization :  30 h during the 2nd quadrimestre.
