| Course contents : | This course explores the field of victimology through lectures on the following themes: the history and field of action of victimology, empirical data on victimization, victimological theories, the role of the victim in criminal procedure, policy developments in favor of victims in Belgium and at the european and international level. At the end of the course an emerging field in victimology is explored. |
