Course contents :  - Actual context and challenges for personnel selection and evaluation

- Personnel recruitment including e-recruitment

- Personnel selection as a process

- Methods in personnel selection, including e.g. tests, work sample test, situational judgment tests, etc.

- Methods in personnel evaluation

- Appraisal interview

Advantages of computer testing
Course objective :  - To understand the current context and challenges of personnel selection and evaluation

- To learn the selection process from criteria/competencies identification to the assessment of these criteria/competencies

- To learn about the personnel evaluation process (annual appraisal, assessment and development centres, etc.)

- To train the students to criticize the existing tools for selection

- To understand relevant topics for companies through the experience of HR professionals.
Prerequisites :  No pre-requisites but we advice to the student to choose the following courses : 'Flexibility practices and methodological challenges of competencies management' (from I. Hansez & V. De Keyser) et 'Strategic challenges of competencies management' (from JM Dujardin, HEC-School of Management)
