Course contents :  The stages of the course are the following ones :

1.The professor animates himself on several topics and illustrates various ways of measury impact of media uses on knowledge and opinions.

2. Students, by groups of two, imagine a course using a media, prepare it, then apply it on a given audience (often a school one), and measure its effects on the learners.

3. Groups report oraly, with the help of a POWER POINT presentation to their mates of other groups.

4. Groups provide a report in written and CD format.
Course objective :  The objective is two-folded :

Specific : Conceive educational animations BY and ABOUT media, especially on TV, and measure the impact in terms of Attitudes (A), Skills (S), Cognition (C), Self-image (I) and Decision (D).

Transversal : Use Excel to process data from a simple experiment (pre - post-test).
Prerequisites :  Be able to use POWER POINT.

Concepts developed in the courses "Educational Technology" and "Training Methods and Learning Theories" (objectives, choice of strategies).
Organization :  Students have two monthes to conceive and realise the course and to process their data.

Assessment :  The two successive versions of the report on CD Rom receive a score and the final score is the average value.
