| Course contents : |
- Development of the terminology (semantic fields) in relation to business, social, political & financial news. Explanation & discussion of recent articles / audio or video documents on socio-economic, financial, (inter-) cultural or political topics; lexical exercises; composition exercises.
- Presentation & discussion of films, esp. episodes 6 to 10 of Kapers op de Kust (story of an SME, business Dutch).
- Debates on current topics or general subjects (that may be led by students) / role-plays.

- Mastery of the business language in situations requiring oral communication (listening comprehension; speaking) & written communication (reading comprehension, writing documents)

- Mastery of everyday Dutch & basic "technical" vocabulary.
