| Course contents : | Module "Español de los Negocios 3 : Organización y gestión de empresa": job applications, motivation letters and CVs, company's flowchart, labour and unemployment, trade unions and social movements, market analysis, launching new products, business trips, Company Boards, taxes, insurances, advertising campaigns, computer applications, etc.
Use of newspapers, media, genuine documents, and video and audio material.
Occasional reminders of grammar points. |

| Organization : | Intensive use of multimedia training tools in LEM Use of distance learning media in Spanish language (as developed in HEC) Listening comprehension, written comprehension exercises. Role play, simulation, case study, debate, oral presentation.
Lectures, meetings with representatives of the business world.
Self-learning possibilities on the website "Español de los Negocios".

| Assessment : | 1- Oral examination: 1.1- economic language (Cf EEC: terminological lists and translations) 1.2- general language: conversation on a short text students discover at the exam: a) Synthesis, b) personal comments (checking the student's mastery of the language and vocabulary in a controlled environment), c) free conversation (checking the student's mastery of the language in a non controlled environment)
2- Written examination: translation into Spanish including economic and grammatical issues.
+ continuous assessment (participation in class, test results, assignments, etc.)
+ DELE (Diploma de Español Lengua Extranjera) and Certificado Superior de Español de los Negocios, issued by the Cámara de Comercio e Industria in Madrid (COCIM) are also taken into account.
In the 2nd session : - Only those students who did not take the 1st session have to take a written exam. - Oral examination on business language and general conversation (no listening comprehension) |
