Course contents :  The pedagogy of this seminar is based on a triple approach :

1. Theoretical approach to give all the logistics principles and best practices based on the actual management concepts

2. Pragmatical approach linking the theory and the concrete aspects of two products to be manufactured and supplied in a outside EU country, that allows to master all the international logistics concepts

3. A case study to study in group of 3 or 4.
Course objective :  To understand the principles of a company management by integrating all the Supply Chain and manufacturing phases : management of the forecasts, purchasing, transport, packaging, manufacturing flows, management of the manufacturing resources, location of the distribution hub, management of the customers satisfaction.

Mastering of an ERP

To search to logistics pertinent information, in the international concert.
Prerequisites :  To have a minimal theoretical knowledge of the manufacturing and logistics concepts.
Workshops :  Use of an ERP allowing to modelizate the management parameters

Writing of a synthesis document: to write concisely
Organization :  Theoretical lesson: 10 * 3 hours

Open access to the lab to use the ERP
Written notes :  Updated annually, available on the HEC-ULg campus
Assessment :  (same criteria for both session)

1. Evaluation of the active and dynamic participation to the seminar

2. Written report prepared by each team

3. Answers given toi the commentaries to each report
