Course contents :  1. To define and specify what is a dissertation (contained, form, methods) - Identification of the various types of research and stages of a research project.
2. The choice of the subject and the research questions - library searches and interviews of privileged witnesses.
3. The construction of the object of research, the problems and the framework of analysis - Questions of research and assumptions.

5. Conclusions and the introduction/the bibliography/appendices. Some councils for the drafting and second reading of the manuscript/for oral defense.
Course objective :  The course aims at enabling students to design and conduct a scientific investigation and produce a written scientific report: identification of the various stages in the elaboration of a written scientific report; work schedule and methodology in scientific investigation; advice on the report draft and the oral presentation.
Organization :  Lectures, analysis of working papers and scientific reports.
