Course contents : This course deals with various aspects of radiochemistry: radioactive decay, detection of radionuclides, nuclear reactions, applications of radiotracers in chemistry, medical applications, reprocessing of nuclear wastes, interactions of radiations with matter.
Course objective : improve one's knowledge in general chemistry, to be able to understand and judge of the importance of nuclear problems
Prerequisites : Inorganic Chemistry
Organization : Oral course, numerical exercises during the course, visit of a radiochemistry laboratory
Written notes : Written notes
Assessment : Written exam
