| Course contents :
| Modelling and control of linear feedback control systems. Open-loop and closed-loop concepts. Analysis and synthesis of state-space models. Controllability and observability. Separation principle. Frequency methods for oop analysis (Bode, Nyquist, loop-shaping, sensitivity functions, performance limitations). PID control. Robustness and performance. Two labs + matlab homeworks. | |

| The objective of the course is to understand the basic analysis and synthesis tools of feedback control systems. | |

| Prerequisites :
| SYST002 or equivalent linear systems course. | |

| Workshops :
