Application of projective techniques

Course contents : Introduction to projective tests, Rorschach and the Thematic Apperception Test, leading to an analysis of the structure of an individual's personality and to looking at the mechanisms of the unconscious.
Course objective : Carrying out the Rorschach test, having incorpored Exner's theory of an Integrated System:valuation, formal report, the various steps, psychological conclusion.
Carrying out a T. A. T. , having mastered its methodological analysis principles. Writing up the results of these tests in a psychological report.
Prerequisites : Clinical psychology orientation + courses L107 (test practice) and L428 (Dynamic psychology)
Workshops : Carrying out five tests and submitting reports.
Organization : Course and exercises, given over the two terms. This course leads on the PSYC 1123-1 and PSYC 1124-1
Written notes : Student notes and " Le Rorschach, un sytème intégré" (Exner, French translation, A. Andronikof.)
Assessment : At the end of the 1st term, Written exam: Exner's theory and a formal report.
At the end of the year, written exam: carryin out a Rorschach test ( interpretation, conclusion) and an analysis of the T.A.T.
