Course contents : Assessment of personality and individual differences in clinical psychology
Normal and pathological personality
Weakness of projective methods
Standardized methods of personality assessment
(NEO PI-R, TCI-R, IPDE, SCID-II, MMPI-2, other questionnaires, specific scales)
Standardized methods of cognitive skills assessment
(Wechsler’s scales, Kaufman’s battery, Raven’s matrix, specific tests)
Course objective : ·Introducing the limits of individual differences assessment
·Describing questionnaires and semi-structured interview to assess normal personality and personality disorders
·Describing batteries used to assess intelligence
Prerequisites : Both first years.
Workshops : No.
Organization : Oral presentation.
Written notes : Powerpoint presentation.
Assessment : Written examiantion (MCQ true-false and open questions with short responses) at both sessions.
