Course contents : Chapter 1 Levels of analysis of behaviours and mental processes: neurobiologic; behaviourist; psychodynamic; cognitive; humanist; psychosocial; cultural.

Chapter 2 Methods of research in psychology.

Chapter 3 Perceptual processes

Chapter 4 Classical conditioning and operant conditioning; social learning - applications to the field of kinesitherapy (e.g., neurovegetative conditioning to the settings of institutions of care, operant conditioning and kinesitherapeutic care follow-up) and sport (e.g., influence of the social learning in sport affiliation).

Chapter 5 Intellectual processes (in particular the heuristics of judgement, the cognitive bias of over-estimation of unlikelihood, and the tendency to reduce to the minimum the risks of failure in the decision-making in the field of health) and language (in particular the communication into the relationship with the patient).

Chapter 6 Emotion: the body as a component of emotion; cognitive processes and emotion; culture and emotion.

Chapter 7 Motivation: organic motivations; theory of optimal activation and functioning motivation ; psychosocial motivations; sociocognitive approach of motivation. Application to the field of health (e.g., importance of the processes of volitional control of cognition, motivation, emotions, behavior and environment in the follow-up of thekinesitherapist prescriptions) and sport ( e.g., learning goals vs performance goals)
