Course contents : The main topics are :

Basic notions and precursors in the field

Definition of the emotion

Emotional expression

Brain mechanisms implied in the emotional process

The role of the emotions in cognition

The emotions in social relationships

The role of the emotions in psychopathology and psychotherapy
Course objective : To approach the importance of emotional factors in different fields of psychology : cognitive, social, clinical, etc.

Workshops : none
Organization : Ex-cathedra courses
Written notes : PowerPoint presentations on line and to be printed, and a detailed textbook.
Assessment : MCQ in January

Open-ended questions in September.
