| Course objective :
| This course deals with a part of physics. It aims at giving students some knowledge of the fundamental laws that govern physical phenomena as well as physical procedures used in the industry. This course constitutes a prerequisite for the advanced applied sciences courses. | |

| Organization :
| Multimedia presentation supported by an excellent reference textbook (see basic bibliography) which is adopted to teaching basic science to business engineers. A power point application will cover a part of the course and a syllabus with the copy of the transparences will be available. The powerpoint application will be completed with numerous animations replacing lab experiments. As far as possible a real-life experiment will be presented in class. Many exercises and concept applications will ba detailed during the course. | |
