Teacher: Mme Sylvia DEROOSE.

Introduction to business German and to business life in Germany

Course objective :

Develop the four main skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading comprehension) in the context of business German (with occasional grammatical reminders and introduce students to business life and current affairs in Germany through newspaper articles, YV broadcasts, presentations and debates.

Prerequisites :

everyday language (= two years in HEC-ULg)

Organization :

One hour a week during the whole year.

Assessment :

written examination (50 %): vocabulary test, essay, listening comprehension
oral examination (50 %): presentation of a personal work, conversation on issues discussed in class
