Course contents : The course is a fast introduction to some topics of the physical geography (atmosphere, water surface and evolution of the forms of the relief). It is organized around some modules sets of themes
Course objective : The course has as the ambition to present the contribution of the physical geography in the fields of geographical and related sciences. It insists more particularly on the role of interface that physical geography occupies within sciences of the Earth
Prerequisites : The theoretical course does not require preliminary knowledge, others that those awaited from a student of baccalaureat in sciences.
Workshops : Three training sessions of three hours by groups of maximum 25 students.
Organization : The theoretical course as the practical working sessions in room are organized in three hour modules. One day of practical initiation to the physical geography is organized in spring partly in room and on the ground.
Written notes : The support of the course is distributed on CD at the end of teaching with all the documents projected at the time of the verbal statement. Written notes are progressively distributed together with the advancement of the course and PW.
Assessment : The interrogation relating to the theoretical and practical matters is organized in the form of a written examination. Part of this examination is organized in the form of a MCQ based on images projected quickly on a screen. At least two open questions are put. A scientific calculator is essential for the written examination. An evaluation of the sessions of PW of the year intervenes in the final evaluation in addition to the one of the excercices of the written examination. A written examination and an oral examination are organized in second session for those who would not have succeeded in first session
