| Course contents :
| The theoretical course is made of 4 main parts: 1. Networks 2. Circulation 3. Stakeholders and politics 4. Environmental and socio-political impacts Workshops on fundamental and applied aspects will allow to strengthen the theoretical aspects. | |

| Course objective :
| The main objective of the course is to allow students to better understand key concepts and key methods in the field of transport geography. In order to achieve this aim, the course will, from the local scale to the global scale, take into account the relationships between location choices and mobility demand. The course also underlines transport impacts and the influence of politics, as well as planning processes at the urban and regional scales. | |

| Prerequisites :
| Key concepts of geography as taught in the introduction course of the BAC 1 To be open-minded towards the current economic and social issues. | |

| Workshops :
| Three kind of research will be proposed : - a bibliographic research, - the application of a method, - a critical analysis about an actuality issue. | |
|  | | |
| Organization :
| Five theoretical sessions of 3 hours and 15 hours of workshops (reseraches to be presented). | |
