| Course contents : | The lecture is mainly composed by a didatic presentation with illustration of practical cases. In a first part, it is necessary to familiarize the student with basic knowledge concerned with the analysis of transport systems. Computation methods are then presented for each mode of transport. | |||||

| Course objective : | This course is included in the programme of an Interuniversity Master degree in transport Management (CIEM, Interuniversity Centre of Mobility study):the objective is to overcome the techniques of a transport system analysis and the concrete evaluation of costs, important elements to elaborate strategies of intermodal transport chains. | |||||
| ||||||
| Prerequisites : | This training course is open to candidates with a degree level of Master in engineering or economy. Candidates with a foreign equivalent degree are accepted after an analysis of their scientific background and acceptance by the management committee of CIEM. The candidates with another degree can follow the programme in order to obtain a certificate. | |||||

| Workshops : | Oral course+practical works (simulations on computer are realised). | |||||
| ||||||
| Written notes : | The course is very specific and has its own detailed syllabus: it is not necessary to refer to other particular documents. For any student who wants to improve his knowledge, a library in the transport field is available and is regularly updated, mainly under department fund. CIEM has also a specialised library in the field of Mobility Management. | |||||
