Course contents : Contents : 1. Introduction to continuous and discrete-time signals - 2. The Fourier transform - 3. Sampling of continuous-time signals - 4. Discrete Fourier transform - 5. Introduction to digital systems, input/output relashionships - 6. Introduction to IIR and FIR digital filters
Course objective : Provide students in engineering geology with an introduction to the field of digital signal-processing.
Workshops : Laboratories including resolution of problems with Matlab signal processing toolbox.
Organization : The course is taught during the second semester. Lectures of 1h30 are followed by 2 hours laboratories.
