Part II Diplomatic history : milestones of contemporary international relations
1. Summary of Internationales Relations from the Middle Ages until 1945
2. Milestones of Contempory Internationales Relations
-1948 to 1973 : EAST-West Confrontation
1973 to 1986 : trnasistion period : economic crisis and development of multipolarization of IR; North-South opposition; West-West commercial and technological conflict; stagnation of the Detente;
from 1986 to 1991 : the end of the East-West confrontations Gorbatchev comes into power in the USSR in 1986; collapse of communism
A new definition of International Relations : towards a new international order or how difficult it hes been to find a new world balance since 1991.
