Course contents : The class is aimed at students following the “Licence en notariat”, who are already familiar with the fundamental principles of real estate law; therefore it addresses the study of divided co-ownership of immovables governed by the Act of 30 June 1994. Two specific statutes are studied along with the first topic : the so called “Breyne” Act and the “Timeshare Act”.
Course objective : The aim of the class is to make the “Licence en notariat” as complete as possible regarding fundamental patrimonial matter and to provide students with the necessary theoretical basis for attending the class of redaction of notary Acts in this field.
Prerequisites : property law, partim civil Law (2 lic.)
Organization : Lessons of two hours, two lessons a week, during four weeks, second semester.
Written notes : Detailled plan.
Assessment : Oral exam in first and second session.
