IX European experience versus American experience
Course objective : this course aims on the one hand to describe the main gaims, from a legal point of view, of the European single market, and on the other hand, to make students understand the dynamics of a process, which by going further every year, makes the practice conditions of doing business in Europe, more and more compaarable. In this context where the law is in constant development , we aim at providing students with the access methods to appropriate documentory sources.
Prerequisites : Basic knowledge of the european institutions
DT 301 Introduction to private law and law of contract
Organization : Ex cathedra classes, case studies from ECJ (in French and in English), maybe a role-play
Written notes : - M. DE WOLF, "Eléments de droit européen", à paraître chez Bruylant/Erasme.
Assessment : 1st session assessment : written assessment. A MCQ test amoiunts to 50% of the mark
2nd session assessment : written assessment
