Mathematics: diffrential and integral calculus - linear calculus

Course contents : Calculus :
Real and hyperreal numerical lines. Continuity, derivability, differentiation, primitivation and integration for functions with one real variable (with a non standard approach).
Linear algebra :
Algebra for vectors and matrices. Linear systems. Characteristiv values and vectors; diagonalisation. Quadratic forms (without and with constraints). Markov's chains. Generalized inverse.
Course objective : To learn to be rigorous, to use mathematics in management, to solve concrete problems.
Prerequisites : Principles of mathematical reasonings, elementary algebra, basic trigonometry and geometry, theory of real numbers.
Workshops : Exercises for little groups.
Work on computers with Mathematica.
Organization : Semesters 1 and 2.
Theory = 60 hours; exercises : 30 hours.

Assessment : First session : the final resul is an integer which is obtained by the arithmetical mean of four quotations :
- written examination about linear algebra (first semester);
- written examination about calculus (secon semester);
- oral examination about theory;
- work of the year.
Secon session :
- written examination about exercises (2/3 of the total);
- oral examination about theory (1/3 of the total).
