Learning unit contents
Ecological engineering is concerned with ecosystem management, creation with and/or for biodiversity . We will consider how ecological theory is used for facilitating ecological restoration of habitats. Planification, ethics and funding of EI projects will be assesed through case studies, field visit and conferences. A 10 days stage in South Fracnce extend student overview in a new ecological and socio-economical context.

At the end of the teaching, you should be able to :
- Assess the integrity of an ecosystem and its biodiversity
- Use ecological concepts et technicas skills to identify petinent actions for ecological restoration of degraded habitats.
- Propose a EI strategy taking into account financial, ethics and societals opportunities.
