Learning unit contents
The course is essentially based on the grammatical study and contextual analysis of texts and multimedia supports related to the field of landscape architecture. Scientific, journalistic, general or official, all the supports used in the course will reflect, from near or far, the professional reality and the problems inherent to garden and landscape architecture.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The objective of this course is to develop the grammatical and contextual skills necessary for the student to grasp and understand all types of media, to render the content, and to appropriate it.
Within the framework of the course, the student will then have to
- know and master the grammatical and structural concepts of the studied language.

Organisational remarks and main changes to the course
English Part 1 is a preparatory course to English Part 2 for beginner/intermediate students. A level test will determine whether or not the student has to take English Part 1. If the note obtained in the test allows it, in agreement with the teacher, the student may be exempted from taking the course and will be credited with the note obtained in the test.
