Introduction to heritage conservation and restoration

Presentation of the process of developing a conservation-restoration project and its specificities, within the framework of the Brussels Capital Region, in the Flemish Region and the Walloon Region: Status of the owner, private, public, organizer of a competition, Type of protection of the property, listed on the inventory, listed monument, listed site, architectural ensemble, monument or exceptional site, CP heritage certificate procedure, participation of the architect and the historian of the art of the SPW, the CRMSF, the representative of the municipal administration, Legislation in terms of spatial planning, urban planning, heritage Legislation in the field of public procurement when it concerns subsidized works, Administrative specifications, choice of open, restricted or negotiated procedures, allotment, tender forms, awarding, qualitative selection criteria, approval of companies, written criteria award res Advertising of tender made at the national level, at European level. This learning activity is related to A.A. 2.2.1. Establishment of the restoration file: plans, specifications, specifications, and the A.A. 2.2.3. Establishment of the restoration file: site monitoring.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of the learning activity, the student will be able - identify stakeholders in a conservation-restoration file - to master all the procedures and procedures relating to the practice of conservation-restoration; - to control references to the legislative and regulatory framework of conservation-restoration projects.
