Micropaleontology

The micropalentology part of this paleontology course will study the evolution of the biosphere during the first 4 billions years of Earth history, from the origin of life to the diversification of the 3 domains of life, including eucaryogenesis, and the diversification of complex life

Micropaleontology
at the end of the class, the student will be able to describe the major steps of evolution of the three domains of life and their microscopic fossil record, as well as the challenges in evidencing the first traces of life.
