Learning unit contents

This remedial course will allow students to achieve a better command of general and legal German, i.e., of the topics covered in LANG0030.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

By the end of this course students will have a better command of language structures, legal and general vocabulary.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

During the remedial sessions we will focus on the revision of grammar, general and legal vocabulary, as well as on providing an enhanced understanding of the texts/articles seen during the 1st term. Emphasis will be put on bridging possible learning gaps.

Organisational remarks and main changes to the course

This course is open to all students, but first-year students who failed the mid-term exam are more particularly expected to attend this course. Students are also expected to participate actively in class.
