Learning unit contents
- CEFRL level of the course : A2+ / B1
Study of the vocabulary and the main chapters of Dutch grammar through grammar (drill) exercises, reading, writing, speaking and listening activities.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
This is the second year of an optional programme. The final objective is written and oral practice of everyday Dutch.
The second part focuses on a basic knowledge of Dutch grammar and vocabulary.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
A basic knowledge of oral and written Dutch is required (see description 1st year).
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Reading and listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary exercises, debates, written assignments, etc. from files available via the option "Support du cours".

1 hour every week It is possible to follow @lter Basic at the same time.

Additional information:
Written and oral exams at the end of the year.
The written exam will focus on the vocabulary and grammar covered in Q1 and Q2 (synonyms, translations, fill-in-the-blanks, etc.) and will include a writing exercise.
For the oral exam, students will present a text of their choice of 2 to 3 pages from the current academic year. Students must register for the oral exam (in class or by e-mail) BEFORE 30 APRIL. They must then submit their chosen text by this deadline, failing which the student will not be able to sit the oral exam in the first session. Please note that the same text may not be chosen by more than one student!
In the case of a second session, the written and oral examinations will be taken on the same day. Students may be exempted from the oral examination if they obtained a mark of 10/20 or higher in the first session. If this is not the case, they must register for the oral by e-mail BEFORE 31 JULY. They may not keep the same text as in the first session, unless they did not take the oral in the first session, and must therefore send a new article by e-mail before 31/7.
PLEASE NOTE: an absence from one part of the examination = 0 for the whole written/oral examination.
