Learning unit contents

Development of the definitions, classification, pathophysiology and treatments of the main musculoskeletal disorders in sportsmen and women.
Development (theoretical and practical) of rehabilitation treatments for the main disorders of the musculoskeletal system in athletes.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

To know the main affections of the locomotor system (trunk, upper limb, lower limb) in a sports patient and the related treatment.
To master in theory as well as in practice the specificities of the physiotherapy of the main affections of the locomotor system in a sports patient.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Courses related to general rehabilitation given in the basic training of Master Kiné.

 

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Organisation of half-day courses in the TP room including in varying proportions ex cathedra teaching, practical sessions and interactive exchange situations. Research papers and class presentations required in the 2nd term.
