Learning unit contents

Compulsory support seminar involving the active participation of students. This seminar aims to guide students in the production of their internship report and their dissertation.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

It is imperative that the student has validated the course SOCI2261-1 Initiation à la recherche en développement et coopération internationale (en ce compris le travail personnel)

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The sessions will alternate ex cathedra lessons, individual student presentations, peer reviewing, individual production, formative evaluation.


A work schedule is communicated at the start of the year. This schedule indicates all the intermediate productions expected for each session.

In the event of non-completion, the student will be excluded from the session for which the production was expected.

Except in the case of an Eramus stay in S1, students must physically attend the course.

For S2, coaching sessions may be organised online due to compulsory placements.

It is strongly advised that students who experience difficulties in methodology read at least the following books:

Formative assessments will take place all year round to help students complete the final certification products: the internship report and the dissertation (see the regulations)

Work placement(s)

The internship is compulsory and must be completed in the second semester.
