Learning unit contents

The mission aims to identify and document in depth an unresolved problem related to some of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (or sub-goals).

The ambition is that the mission leads to an in-depth analysis of a problem likely to lead to an entrepreneurial opportunity which could then be developed within the framework of the master's degree.

The main part of the mission is focused on documenting a problem as much as possible with a view to subsequently (outside the mission) bringing out candidate entrepreneurial solutions. The focus is therefore to fully understand a problem, not to validate an entrepreneurial project.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The mission will aim to develop the following skills:

- Ability to better understand major societal issues and the associated problems to be resolved.
- Ability to identify relevant problems, analyze them and document them.
- Ability to develop an empathetic approach towards selected issues.
- Ability to perform benchmarking (in connection with existing solutions to selected problems).
