Learning unit contents

Knowing the energetic bases of physical exercise, identifying the factors of performance, knowing how to evaluate the main physical qualities, knowing the main training modalities, as well as the bases of planning are all fundamental concepts to know in order to understand the subtleties of a thoughtful training adapted to a sport context. These are the objectives and contents of this introductory course on the basics of training. 

This course is divided into 7 lessons

1) The factors of performance

2) The evaluation of physical qualities

3) The energy pathways

4) The modalities of energy training

5) The modalities of muscular training

6) Mobility

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Upon completion of the course, the student will know:

-the factors of performance
-the main physical tests
-the different methods of training physical qualities seen in the course (energy channels, endurance, strength, speed, flexibility, plyometrics, etc.)
-the basic principles of weight training;
-the basic principles of planning.
