Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Droit social

General training in social law.
This course contributes to the following learning expectations: It strengthens students' knowledge and understanding of management subjects as well its legal, political and social context.
The knowledge and understanding they acquire will prepare them for areas of specialisation.
They will learn how to integrate information, tools and contextual data that they have found themselves to elaborate and propose, individually or within a team, original, creative and viable solutions to real or simulated complex management problems, taking the human, social and legal context into account if necessary.
They will develop a transversal overview.
When faced with a management problem, they will be able to suggest ethical and socially responsible solutions that respect the principles of good governance.

Introductory course to private and public law.

Additional information:

Written exam (MCQ / open questions) in the 1st and 2nd session.

During the exam, students may refer to the compendium of legislation established by the professor. Any other documents are forbidden during the exam.

Students can underline or highlight items in this compendium but they CAN'T make any annotations: only references to articles are allowed. Post-its can be used in these documents, but only as 'bookmarks': nothing can be written on them. Students found in possession of any documents other than those authorised, during the exam, will receive 0/20 for the exam.


The assessment criteria are as follows:
- knowledge of the law taught during lectures (memorise - reconstruct),
- the ability to link different concepts in order to properly grasp a practical situation and elaborate the relevant strategies.
