Units courses prerequisite and corequisite

Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program

Learning unit contents

The course is composed of an introductory session and of several sessions dedicated to the analysis of professional practice in relation to the didactics corresponding to each participant's core subject. In some cases, the analysis sessions are to be prepared online.
The introductory session is meant for all participants together. It deals with the CAPAES professional dossier and with the integrative portfolio. What both assignments have in common and to what extent they differ from one another will also be discussed on the occasion of the introductory session. The other sessions are dedicated to analyzing participants' professional practice in a disciplinary or interdisciplinary perspective. Each participant will be asked to present his/her own analysis in order to benefit from peers' and instructor's feedback.
At the end of the course, each participant will have to hand in his/her integrative portfolio.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Participants will analyse and discuss their professional practice in a reflective way. Thus, they will also contribute to their peers' learning. On the basis of reflective analysis, they will have to elaborate an integrative portfolio which will be useful for writing their CAPAES dossier (and their teaching portfolio, provided they take part in Formasup).

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

none

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Presentations followed by question and answer sessions, collective exercises of reflective analysis, online tutoring (for some didactics only), personal presentations by participants and discussions in small groups.
Personal reflections in relation to professional practice will have to be recorded in an integrative portfolio.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

The course takes place in face-to-face sessions and is sometimes complemented by additional work. An introductory session which all participants have to attend together is followed by analysis sessions. Reflective analyses and the integrative portfolio have to be prepared by individual work

Course materials and recommended or required readings

Instructors are free to recommend readings they find useful for the course.

Assessment is based on the integrative portfolio to be elaborated by each participant according to the instructions. The course will be considered either "passed" or "failed" according to the quality of the assessed portfolio. Only participants who also take part in Formasup will get a mark (out of 20) for their integration portfolio.

Work placement(s)

Organisational remarks and main changes to the course

The introductory session will take place in the evening (from 17 00 to 20 00). Online tutoring will be organized flexibly according to participants' availability. The sessions dedicated to the analysis of professional practice will be taken in charge by didacticians. The timetable for the analysis sessions will be set together by participants and their didactician at the beginning of the year.
