Learning unit contents :
This formation consists in a theoretical part, a practical part and a personal production.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit :
The objectives of this formation are to familiarize the student to pigs, to initiate him/her to restraint of pigs and to use additional diagnostic tools useful in the context of his/her research.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
Knowledge delivered in Bachelor and Master of Veterinary Medicine are prerequisite knowledge to this lecture.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Theory will be delivered, followed by practicals specifically related to the research activities of the student. The personal production performed by the student will constitute a useful step to his/her doctoral training.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
Theory and practicals are delivered in face-to-face.
Recommended or required readings :
Notes will be provided to students. If needed, recommended readings will be adviced.
Assessment methods and criteria :
An evaluation of the knowledge-being, the knowledge and the know-how of each student will occur during the formation.
