| This cours contains two different parts, the first one concerning the biophysics and given by Prof. Hoebeke, and a second part concerning the physics of materials and presented by Prof. Silhanek. The concepts that will be introduced and discussed are,
- Electric transport - Magnetism - Superconductivity - Dielectric materials |

Learning outcomes of the learning unit :

| At the end of the course the students will be able to understand the electric properties of materials and their magnetic response. | ||||||||

- The cours consists of 15 lectures of 2h each (5 lectures devoted to the biophysics, and 10 lectures for the physics of materials). |
