| Teaching in the second semester | ||||||||
Units courses prerequisite and corequisite :
| Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program | ||||||||
Learning unit contents :
| Table of content : - zero gravity and microgravity - physical phenomena in microgravity - means for obtaining microgravity - hypergravity - designing an experiment |
Learning outcomes of the learning unit :
| The lecture aims to allow student better understanding the scientific motivations about micogravity. The second objective is either to design an original experiment (which could flight in the ESA Zero-G) or to visit installations simulating micro-gravity. | ||||||||
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
| The lecture about complex fluids.Preparing a Master Thesis on a topic related to the professors. | ||||||||
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
| - microgravity in fluids, Plateau's experiment - free fall tower - visit of ESA equipment in Bordeaux (airbus) or Bremen (drop tower) |
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
