| To treat the education of pharmacy students thanks to the multidisciplinary field of pharmacognosy: -informations about phytochemical classes and metabolites (active principles mainly);- description of plants used not only in medicine but also in food and cosmetics; -survey of the main toxic plants of our environment; -pharmacological interest and limitations of medicinal plants used in phytotherapy; -specific methods of quality control in pharmacognosy described in European Pharmacopoeia (drugs, extracts, essential oils, fixed oils...)... | |||||
