| This course describes the pharmacological basis of therapeutics. Each chapter begins with a short description of pathophysiology. Therapeutic targets and the drugs acting on them are highlighted. Novel directions in therapeutic strategy may also be described. | |||||

| At the end of this course, the students are supposed:
- To know the main targets of drugs that are used in therapeutics, - To understand why it is interesting to act on such targets, - To be able to give a few examples of drugs that are used clinically, - To describe innovative strategies for the discovery of new drugs. |
