| The course tells the history of the French-speaking poetry of Belgium since 1830, but especially since la Jeune Belgique and the symbolism, until our days. It consists at first of a history and an analysis of different poetics (conceptions and practices of poetic writing), through the study of texts and works, groups and influences. A transverse look will observe the trends, constants and oppositions through the whole history. The course will have a sociological dimension by approaching the question of careers, strategies, magazines and publishers. |
